All of humanity needs to understand the fundamentals of, and then keep the Law of the correct way of living. This is the Law of liberty and it is found, a little here and there, in the First and Second Testaments of Scripture.

The Covenant, or our legal contractual agreement with our God and Father, must be kept. The principles they contain can be applied to all areas of our life. The controlling influence of such rules will modify the condition of the society, if they are correctly observed. The more you keep the individual principles, the better your understanding of all of them will become.

We all need to read Scripture regularly and study it with the Plan that God has for his creation in mind. The difference in the physical and spiritual application after baptism of God’s Statutes, Judgments and Commandments need to be applied to be properly understood. We will need access to an Interlinear Bible, a Bible lexicon, concordance, dictionary and word study, and several Bible versions, like a word for word and a vernacular translation.

We need histories like the Catholic Encyclopedia; A History of the Jewish people in the Time of Jesus Christ by Schurer; the History of the Christian Church by Scaff; the Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics James Hastings; the new Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge Samuel M. Jackson. Numerous histories and various encyclopedias needed for research are now available online and are either free or not too expensive.
